01 / WHEN TO CALL US

KNOW THE SIGNS.

If your hammer shows any of these, take it out of service and give us a call.

01

Weak or uneven impact

Blows that fade, slow down or lose force point to internal wear, low gas charge or seal bypass.

02

Oil leaks

Oil at the tool, between housing sections or around the hoses usually means seals are worn or damaged.

03

Will not fire

A hammer that stalls, hesitates or stops cycling needs inspection before it goes back on the carrier.

04

Worn tool and bushings

Too much play at the tool wears the piston and front head. Catch it at the bushing, not the piston.

05

Jumping hoses

Hoses that surge or whip under load can signal accumulator or pressure problems inside the hammer.

06

Running hot

Excess heat breaks down oil and seals quickly. It is a warning sign for both the hammer and the carrier.

COMMON QUESTIONS

GOOD TO KNOW.

What hammers can I send in?

Start a service request with the make and model of your hydraulic hammer. The team will confirm the right next step for your unit during your service conversation.

Do I need to know what is wrong before I call?

No. Describe what the hammer is doing, such as weak impact, leaks or not firing. The teardown and inspection identify the cause.

How do I get a price for a hammer repair?

Request a quote using the form or call (713) 887-4970. Pricing depends on the condition of the hammer, the parts required and the agreed scope of work.

How do I get my hammer to you?

Share where the unit is located before moving it. Shipping or drop-off arrangements are confirmed as part of your service discussion.

Can you maintain my hammer before it fails?

Yes. Ask about preventive maintenance to catch seal, bushing and gas charge problems before they take the hammer out of service.
